Wellness Wednesdays began in January.  They will be offered on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, starting January 14th from 12-5pm.

Sara Martin, CMT, will offer chair massage at the Whitingham Municipal Center, 2948 VT Route 100, Jacksonville free of charge to residents of the Town of Whitingham on a first come, first serve basis.  Residents outside of Whitingham are welcome too, but will be asked to offer a donation.

Curious?  Stop in to see us on Wednesday, April 8th, May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12, September 9, October 14, and December 9.  Feel free to ask questions, or try it out.  Not everyone is comfortable with massage and a chair massage can be a good introduction to massage therapy for a newbie.

You will be required to sign a consent form prior to any treatment, so if you are unsure if you should get a massage because of a medical condition, it is suggested you clear massage, myofascial release, and stretching, with your doctors and medical professionals.

There will be a Celebration of Life for ROBIN KINGSLEY, a former Selectboard member and resident, at Town Hill on Saturday, September 12th starting at 2pm.  

The family says "We will have plenty of food to go around for everyone. We will be serving pulled pork, ribs, chicken thighs, burgers and dogs. There will also be sides but if you would like to bring a side or a dessert please feel free to do so. A tent will be set up with tables and chairs for people to gather, talk and eat. Bring whatever beverages you’d prefer to drink. Extra chairs never hurts and also you may want to bring a pop up pending the weather outcome. There will be a band so bring your dancing shoes and cut a rug! They will be starting around 3PM. Let’s all gather to celebrate such a great man and share memories we all will cherish forever!"
