Pursuant to law, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the WHITINGHAM ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT (ZBA) with site plan review conducted by the Whitingham Planning Commission on Thursday, APRIL 10, 2024, at 6:30 PM at the WHITINGHAM MUNICIPAL CENTER, 2948 VT Route 100, Jacksonville, VT 05342 for the purpose of hearing an application for seven (7) rental apartments at 64 Gates Pond Road on Zoning Application #W-01-25 by:

The public hearing will address conditional approval by the ZBA to allow change of use of the structure from prior use as a pottery maker with store to a multi-family dwelling unit.
Interested parties should be present or have submitted written testimony by 6:30pm of hearing date or forfeit the right to appeal the decision of the ZBA to VT Superior Court (Environmental Division).

Green Up Day 2025
Saturday, May 3, 2025 - 9:00am
On Saturday, May 3rd residents of Whitingham will join together to clean up trash along the roadside. At 9am bags will be available at Town Hill Park- along with coffee & donuts. If you'd like to 'Green Up' your road prior to the event bags are available at the Town Office.
You can select the road or section of road you'd like to 'Green UP' prior to the event here:
Don't forget to return to Town Hill Park at 11:30am on Saturday for the Lion's Club BBQ, Live Music, Face Painting & More!

A Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 9am to 1pm at the Whitingham Transfer Station for Whitingham residents and property owners.
Whitingham businesses must pre-register for the event at least 1 week in advance by emailing a list of business hazardous waste and quantities to gig@whitinghamvt.org (link sends e-mail).
