Green Up Day

Saturday May 2nd | 9am Coffee & Donuts & Pick up your Trash Bags | 11:30am Green Up Day Event
On Saturday, May 2nd residents of Whitingham will join together to clean up trash along the roadside. At 9am trash bags will be available at Town Hill Park- along with coffee & donuts. If you'd like to 'Green Up' your road prior to the event, bags are available at the Town Office.
You can select the road or section of road you'd like to 'Green Up' prior to the event here:
Don't forget to return to Town Hill Park at 11:30am on Saturday for the Lion's Club BBQ, Live Music, Face Painting, Hair Tinsel & More!

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event
Saturday, May 16, 2026 - 9:00am to 1:00pm
Free for Whitingham residents, Hazardous Waste Collection Event at the Transfer Station 4185 VT Route 100, Whitingham, VT from 9am to 1pm.
Reminder: paint is collected during regular business hours, no need to hold onto it for an HHW event. If there is only a small amount left in the can, take the top off, dry out the paint and throw the can in the garbage.
Whitingham small businesses will be charged for hazardous waste, payment is due at the event. Businesses must pre-register for the event at least 1 week in advance by emailiing a list of business hazardous waste and quantities to gig@whitinghamvt.org.
