Town of Whitingham - Highway Personnel - Road Crew    

Tasks include: road construction flagger; operating chain saw to cut brush/trees, etc.; heavy equipment operation (backhoe, loader, etc.); operating heavy trucks with or without attachments for removing debris, snow / ice from public property; general equipment maintenance and upkeep; as requested, must prepare / submit written reports to Road Commissioner; various other duties.   Must be able to work long hours on a regular basis, easily lift in excess of 50 lbs.; able to keep project and/or inventory records. Team Player.  On call availability 24/7, November 1^st -May 1^st .  4-day work week May 1^st – November 1^st.    Must have valid Vermont or Massachusetts driver’s license and current CDL.  Appropriate experience sought.  Full time – benefits.
