Hometown Heroes Banner Program

The Town of Whitingham is launching a Hometown Heroes Banner Program as a living tribute for our community to honor past and present members of the Armed Forces.

A digital Application form with instructions is attached below.    You may submit your application via email to Heroes@whitinghamvt.org and make your payment via the town payment portal. Paper Application forms are available at the town offices. You may drop off your application and check at the town offices.  Photos must be submitted by email.

Banners will be 24"x48" and cost $200 each.

If you would like to support this program, please contact a Selectboard member or Gig in the Selectboard office.

Scholarships are available for up to half the cost of the banner for those in need.

Applications are due MARCH 27, 2026 for hanging in time for Memorial Day, 2026.

A second round of applications are due MAY 8, 2026 for hanging in time for Old Home Week, 2026.
