History of the Harriman Dam & Reservoir

The Whitingham Historical Society is hosting a presentation of the History of the Harriman Dam and Reservoir on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 7pm in the Whitingham Municipal Center at 2948 VT Route 100 in Jacksonville.
Matt Cole of Great River Hydro (current owner of the dam and reservoir) will show pictures made from Bob Coombs' slide collection of the Harriman Dam as it was being built in the 1920's, it was the largest earthen dam in the world at the time.
Cider and donuts will be provided.
