Saturday, August 8, 2026 - 10:00am

 Life's Final Chapter: A Conversation About End-of-Life

Join us on Second Saturdays; May 9th, June 13th, August 8th, September 12th, November 14th, and December 12th from 10am to noon for an open and supportive community conversation about death, dying, and end-of-life care.

Learn about free hospice, green burial, Advanced Directives, financial planning, and other topics, ask questions and share your stories in a caring and supportive environment.

Hospice volunteers will be present to provide information about free services in our area, and Whitingham resident, Katherine MacLean, will help guide a thoughtful and compassionate conversation. Light refreshments will be served.
AUGUST SPECIAL GUEST

This month we are hosting guest Candis Best, founder of Leaf and Water Cremation

 in Bennington, Vermont.

Come hear the fascinating story of how she was inspired by the death of her sister to create the first flameless cremation facility in southern Vermont.
