Parks Committee

The Parks Committee meets as needed to address concerns/upkeep of Town Hill Common, Eames Village Park and the Municipal Center property. For information contact Seth Boyd at (802) 368-2733.

Senior Meals

Senior Meals are served on Tuesdays and Thursdays providing nutritious meals for seniors of the Deerfield Valley area in the Municipal Center kitchen at noon.  Transportation to the meals is provided, free of charge, by the Moover. To request a ride please call (802) 464-8487.

T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly)

T.O.P.S. meets in the Municipal Center every Tuesday for weigh in from 2 to 2:30 pm and meeting from 2:30 to 3:30pm. T.O.P.S. is a support group to help people lose weight.

Whitingham Firemen's Association

The Whitingham Firemen's Association aims to save lives through monthly trainings for first responders. They meet at the Jacksonville Fire Department on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7pm. For more information contact the Fire Department at (802) 368-2900.

Whitingham Fire Department Ladies Auxillary

The Ladies Auxillary meets at the Whitingham Fire Department when the fire horn blasts to provide food and other needed items during major fires. They also assist in search and rescue operations, host a children's Christmas Party each year and raise funds for the Fire Department. American Legion Auxillary

Meets approximately three (3) times per year at a local home. Members must have an immediate family member (parent, grandparent, sibling, spouse) who has or is currently serving in the Armed Forces.
